Bench SLB Terrazzo and synthetic resin: room with posture and flooring
The interior of Spar- und Leihkasse Bucheggberg AG has been given a new look. In a project lasting 59 days, our craftsmen transformed an area of 625 square meters into a calm, functional and at the same time attractive floor area. It's not about showmanship, but about materials and workmanship that work in everyday life and last a long time.
From PU flooring to terrazzo
The centerpiece of this project is an azure blue PU floor that is reminiscent of clear water. This flooring belongs to the product group Tanafloor 270, a seamless PU tile flooring from our range. It is characterized by a pleasant walking sensation, easy-care surface and versatile design, with individual colour options as desired.
The PU coating is accompanied by a Terrazzo, a mineral floor covering with an elegant look and high durability. This terrazzo flooring is also part of our range and is perfect for visually structuring rooms while leaving them robust.
Craft and space
Six of our specialists carefully processed the material, coordinated the layers and finished the surface evenly. The PU floor was poured and leveled, the terrazzo was laid and carefully installed to create a uniform transition between the materials. As a result, the floor surface remains calm in expression and functions technically.
In a space like the SLB bench, where people are out and about every day, the flooring and finish have to do more than just look good. The PU flooring is resilient and easy to maintain, while the terrazzo adds depth and texture to the floor. This combination of Tanafloor 270 and mineral terrazzo flooring creates a surface that is both visually clear and suitable for everyday use.
