BERNMOBIL, the heart of public transport in Bern, not only sets standards on the road, but also in its operating rooms. In a comprehensive modernization project, the interiors of the transport company were fitted with new, high-quality floor coverings from our range.
The characteristic red buses and streetcars are part of Bern's familiar cityscape. Now the interior of the operating buildings, where planning, organization and work take place on a daily basis, has also been optimized.
357 m² floor area: divided into three flooring types
A total of 357 square meters of flooring was renewed, divided into three different flooring types:
- 25 m² high quality Parquet flooring for representative areas
- 62 m² durable PVC covering for heavily frequented zones
- 270 m² robust PU coating for technical and workshop areas
The carefully selected materials ensure an appealing look as well as functionality and durability in everyday use.
Quality and sustainability as a claim
The new floor coverings reflect BERNMOBIL's commitment to quality and sustainability, which is also reflected in the steadily growing fleet of environmentally friendly buses.
Project completion by April 30, 2024
The project was completed by April 30, 2024 and is part of the ongoing efforts to improve the infrastructure of BERNMOBIL up to date.
