510 m² of high-quality hard concrete flooring, a flooring that has been refined into a real eye-catcher using an elaborate process and the perfect cut to the grain. Together with our subsidiary Prima-Sol, this impressive terazzo-cut project was realized in Kerzers.
Project and attention to detail par excellence
Our team of experts and that of Prima-Sol enthusiastically took on the challenging task of creating a hard concrete floor covering ground to the grain. The precise height adjustment to adjacent components such as ventilation ducts, stairs, elevator thresholds and door transitions gave us the opportunity to demonstrate our technical finesse.
With impressive efficiency, our team of five began installing the hard concrete flooring in April 2024, which we completed in just three days. The real magic then unfolded over four weeks: we finished the floor with a precise 3-5 mm terrazzo sanding, meticulous filling of the blowholes and the application of a protective impregnation.
This combination of technical precision and aesthetic sensitivity resulted in a floor that is not only visually captivating, but also meets the highest functional requirements. Working closely with PS Baumanagement AG, led by Fabian Schulthess, allowed us to turn every challenge into an opportunity to demonstrate our expertise and create a floor that blends seamlessly with its surroundings.
The hard concrete flooring is characterized by the following properties:
- Thickness from 30 to 100 mm, depending on the load
- Outstanding mechanical load capacity
- Customizable chemical resistance, by means of surface treatment
- Floating installation or can be applied in combination
- Suitable for underfloor heating
- Customizable slip resistance
