Sawdust rings for the Cantonal Wrestling Festival Naters

Before swinging could take place on the festival grounds in Naters, the foundation had to be right. For the Cantonal Wrestling Festival, we blew around 90 m³ of sawdust into the wrestling rings. We used our own manufactured equipment. Jumbo, a three-person team and a truck full of sawdust. The material was distributed neatly, efficiently, and with the necessary feel for the right momentum.

Before the first course

A wrestling festival doesn't just begin with the first throw. It begins with the ground upon which strength, technique, and fairness will later meet. The sawdust rings must be prepared evenly so they can support, spring, and offer the athletes the right surface.

On the Stapfen area, our three-person team, along with the helpers from the wrestling festival, took over these preparations.

Inflated instead of distributed

On site, our Jumbo the round 90m3 material and fed it through a hose in a controlled manner. From there, it entered the oscillating rings evenly. You can get a glimpse of our operation in the video at YouTube.

This working method reduced driving on the site, protected the ground, and ensured even distribution. Almost like being in a wrestling ring: the right grip at the right time makes all the difference.

Canal9 also accompanied our mission and showed in the report «Schwingfest: Sawdust by hose onto the stands», how the sawdust found its way into the arena.

A heartfelt thank you goes to Lüthi Logistik AG for the delivery of the sawdust.

Festival partner with technical contribution

As a main partner for Valais Cantonal Wrestling Festival Naters We were not only visibly present but also on-site with concrete performance. Our contribution was where our strength lies: moving and cleanly installing large quantities of material efficiently.
